Reduced sodium salt

Whilst waiting for my lunchtime sandwich, I noticed a packet of Reduced Sodium Salt.. Now, if my school boy chemistry is correct, surely salt is Sodium Chloride... So what is reduced Sodium Salt... Can we have reduction on the milkyness of milk, the beeryness of beer, the pepperyness of pepper? This world continues to entertain me! ---------------------- sent via blackberry
